Find the right NDIS providers quickly using DSX's powerful search and filtering capabilities.
Basic Search
The search bar on the provider directory accepts:
- Provider names - Search by organisation name
- Locations - Suburb, postcode, or state
- Services - Type of support you're looking for
Try: "support coordination Sydney" or "2000"
Using Filters
Narrow your results using the filter panel. Available filters include:
Location Filters
- Postcode - Enter one or more postcodes
- Suburb - Select from dropdown
- State - Filter by state/territory
- Distance - Providers within X km (when using location)
Service Filters
- NDIS Categories - Select service registration groups
- Specializations - Specific conditions or needs
- Delivery Method - In-person, remote, or both
Provider Filters
- Verification Status - Show only verified providers
- Age Groups - Providers serving specific ages
- NDIS Registered - Registered vs unregistered
Click "Filters" to access all filter options
Search Results
Results are displayed as cards showing:
- Provider name and verification badge
- Primary location
- Service categories
- Brief description
Sorting Results
Sort results by:
- Relevance - Best match to your search (default)
- Distance - Nearest first (when location is set)
- Name - Alphabetical order
- Recently Updated - Most recent changes first
Search Tips
Be Specific
More specific searches give better results:
- Instead of "support" try "support coordination"
- Include location for local providers
- Use service category names from NDIS
Combine Filters
Use multiple filters together to find exactly what you need:
- Start with a keyword search
- Add location filter
- Select relevant service categories
- Check "Verified only" for trusted providers
Clear and Refine
If you get too few results:
- Remove some filters
- Broaden your search terms
- Increase the distance radius
Viewing Provider Profiles
Click on any result card to view the full provider profile, including:
- Complete contact information
- Detailed service descriptions
- Service areas map
- Verification status and registration details
Tip: Use the keyboard shortcut / to quickly focus the search bar from anywhere on the page.
