Learn how to navigate DSX efficiently using the main navigation, search features, and keyboard shortcuts.
Main Navigation
The main navigation bar at the top of every page provides quick access to:
- Home - Return to the homepage
- Provider Directory - Search and browse providers
- About - Learn about DSX and our mission
- Membership - Explore membership options
- Login/Account - Access your account or sign in
Footer Navigation
The footer contains additional links organized into sections:
- Legal & Policies - Privacy, terms, accessibility information
- Quick Links - Popular destinations
- Resources - Documentation, partners, contact
Provider Directory
The provider directory is the heart of DSX. Here's how to use it effectively:
Search Bar
Use the search bar to find providers by:
- Provider name
- Location (suburb, postcode, or state)
- Service type
Filters
Narrow your results using filters:
- Location - Filter by distance or specific area
- Services - Select specific NDIS service categories
- Verification Status - Show only verified providers
- Age Groups - Filter by age groups served
Provider Profiles
Click on a provider card to view their full profile, including:
- Contact information
- Service descriptions
- Location and service areas
- Registration details
Keyboard Navigation
DSX supports full keyboard navigation. Common shortcuts include:

Skip Navigation
When using a keyboard, press Tab on page load to reveal the "Skip to main content" link. This allows you to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the page content.
Mobile Navigation
On mobile devices:
- Tap the menu icon (☰) to open the navigation drawer
- Swipe left to close the drawer
- All features are touch-optimized for easy use
