Frustrated with the (poor) quality of NDIS provider directories? We have built a provider directory that changes the game. We invited a group of 12 NDIS participants and carers to participate in a (paid) research workshop, and in total they identified 29 different weaknesses with NDIS provider directories that they had used. We used that to design a new NDIS provider directory.
There are many problems that participants face trying to find a provider offering a specific service, close to their home.
Notably, the Provider Finder on the NDIS website lists approximately 40,000 'fake' provider outlets e.g. NDIS providers that have set up separate outlets against hundreds of post codes, even though they have no presence there.
The DSX provider search removes all these fake outlets. We also convert NDIS registration group jargon to plain English.
